The prophecies of Ezekiel 38, 39 seem to be setting up and it’s getting easier to understand the details of Daniel 9.

The prequel called The Book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ is sort of playing out in the headlines these days.  I know we always call it “Revelation” but that’s shorthand:  I love the complete title~~it specifies that it’s actually a singular revelation of a single person, Jesus Christ.

The advance information has been provided to us for our understanding and to motivate us to trust in the Sovereign God,  not to scare us to death or to make us think we should “do something about it.”

We are to live out productive lives in the midst of it; but we’re not responsible for it.  I think there’s a lot to be said for understanding that.
